This document outlines the stormwater management practices that are currently in
place and ones that will be implemented in the future both under the City’s volition and to comply with the
requirements of the 2016 MS4 General Permit and the 2019 Administrative Order issued from the EPA to the
City.

Alewife Brook (MA71-04) Contaminants include: Dissolved Oxygen/DO Saturation, Phosphorus, Solids/ TSS/
Turbidity, E. coli, Copper, Foam/Flocs/Scum/Oil Slicks, Lead, PCB in Fish, Tissue, Sediment Bioassays, (chronic toxicity freshwater), Taste and Odor.
